I’m Ayomide. I build thoughtful digital experiences, reliable backend systems, and the infrastructure that keeps them running.

BASED IN NIGERIA · BUILDING BEYOND BORDERSA little more about me PORTFOLIO / 2026

Complexity is inevitable.
Confusion is optional.

I’m Ayomide Olajide, a software engineer who cares as much about how a system holds together as how it feels to use.

From fintech and public-sector platforms to agriculture and education, I help turn involved problems into dependable products. Clear boundaries. Considered interfaces. Decisions that hold up beyond launch.

Built for a purpose.
Made to make a difference.

A few of the products and systems I’ve helped bring into the world.

The whole picture.
The details that matter.

Different disciplines. One goal: software that works for the people who depend on it.

01

Backend engineering

APIs, business logic, and role-based workflows with reliability at their core.

02

System design

Data ownership, service boundaries, and trade-offs made explicit.

03

Frontend engineering

Responsive experiences that bring clarity to complex workflows.

04

Cloud & DevOps

Repeatable pipelines and operational foundations for confident delivery.

05

Intelligent systems

AI-assisted capabilities with deterministic, auditable business rules.

06

Technical leadership

Shared context and practical direction across engineering and product.

My engineering
toolkit.

The right tool follows the problem.

Drawn from my résumé and project work. Applied experience varies by tool; architecture includes both practice and concepts.

Databases & data

Models shaped around ownership, consistency, and the queries the product actually needs.

Cloud & DevOps

Repeatable delivery, from a reviewed change to a deployment the team can understand and operate.

Architecture & system design

Make boundaries and trade-offs visible before they become expensive to change.

Explicit boundaries, clear ownershipThe interface calls the application layer. Domain services own their data; asynchronous work crosses an explicit event boundary.01Interface02Application03Domain service04Owned database05Domain event06Async worker

AI & intelligent systems

Useful intelligence inside deterministic boundaries, with validation, permissions, and human judgment.

01

Discover & understand

Start with the people, the problem, and the constraints. Define what a useful outcome looks like before choosing how to build it.

Architect & design

Map the boundaries, data ownership, and trade-offs. Keep the system as simple as the problem allows.

03

Build & integrate

Bring interfaces, services, and integrations together through clear contracts and reusable business logic.

Test & deliver

Validate behavior, review the change, and promote a reproducible artifact through a visible delivery pipeline.

Monitor & improve

Listen to users and the system. Diagnose the friction, measure the improvement, and feed the learning into the next release.
